I thought I was clever, using others to distribute drugs while I stayed out of sight and evaded the authorities. Until it nearly cost me my life.

I was first jailed for drug trafficking at 18. After my release, I did not stop. I expanded my drug trafficking activities and was re-arrested years later. 

I chased profit and cared only for myself, even scheming to traffic drugs from behind bars.

The turning point came when I saw one of my former clients serving a long prison sentence. It hit me with a deep sense of guilt for the damage I’d caused. 

Today, I help others keep away from the path I once chose and think in the shoes of others to see the real cost of my past choices.
